Arts Enhanced Learning in Room 123

Dr. Penny Owen, professor at the University of Akron, encorporates a theatrical approach to experienctial learning.  Dr. Owen has been working with the students in Mrs. Naylor's classroom on the theme of communities throughout the world.  The students are learning about warrior training of various cultures and how young warriors learned to cotrol their body and mind through relaxation techniques.  In the pics, students are practicing relaxation techniques.
