Fifth grade students got paid a special visit last week by a couple of science pen pals!
The students have been writing to two Kent State students who are studying geology and biology. As a special treat, their Kent State friends came to complete an experience with the class.
Students had to predict if pill bugs preferred wet soil of dry soil. They got to watch the pill bugs move around and borough inside the dirty.
Special thank you to the Kent State geology department for partnering with the David Hill students and staff to make this an awesome learning experience for our students.
