
The sixth graders have had a busy week with a variety of learing activities. The Ohio State University Extension visited to present their nutrition program. This is a four week program that teaches the students about healthy eating and physical activity.
The students also participated in a STEM activity making towers out of candy. Teams of students were given a bag of various candies and toothpicks and were charged with making the tallest tower.
Absolute value was a big part of math for the week. The pictures below showing the students ordering numbers with absolute value.
